FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Today, and then every month on the same date you signed up.

You start right away. Your next charge is one month from your signup date. We don’t prorate.

No. Once your class time is confirmed, it cannot be changed. We structure our classes to stay balanced and small, so we can’t move students around mid-month. Please review your family’s schedule before pre-registering and choose carefully.

We do not offer make-up classes. Your monthly tuition reserves your student’s seat whether or not they attend. Think of it like a membership — your spot is held for you, and we can’t resell it if you miss a week. This policy ensures fairness to all families and consistency for our teachers.

Availability is first-come, first-served, so if you see a time labeled “Last spots remaining” or “Nearly full,” we recommend registering right away to avoid missing out.

Most kids and adults start in Beginning Drawing. This builds the foundation for all future mediums. From there, kids naturally progress into pastels, watercolor, and eventually oils. Adults who prefer independence can select Freestyle, which allows them to bring their own projects and ideas to work on with mentorship.

Yes, depending on your program:

  • Kids Beginning Drawing — A $27 one-time supply fee is due in person at your first class. This covers your starter kit (pencils, sketch pad, erasers, etc.).

  • Adult Beginning Drawing — Same $27 one-time fee, due on your first day.

  • Adult Freestyle — No supply fee. Students bring their own supplies and projects.

Each weekly class is one hour long. That’s long enough to provide solid instruction and creative time without overwhelming students.

  • Kids Weekly Classes — Ages 5 and up.

  • Adult Weekly Classes — High school graduates and older.

  • We keep classes small — usually 6 students or fewer per session. This ensures plenty of one-on-one guidance and keeps the environment calm and creative.

No. These are monthly tuition programs, not drop-in sessions. Pre-registration reserves your seat for ongoing weekly classes. We’ve designed the program to build skills step-by-step over time, so consistency is essential.

No. Tuition is due monthly in full regardless of attendance. This ensures fairness and allows us to keep class sizes small and reliable.

Each child requires their own pre-registration and tuition. You can, however, select the same time slot for siblings as long as seats are available.
