Calico Cottage Reopens: Art Classes for All Ages in Munford, TN

Calico Cottage School of Art is back—and better than ever! Located in the heart of Munford, TN, our beloved art studio is once again offering weekly art classes for kids, teens, and adults, plus one-time paint nights, birthday parties, and more.

For over 40 years, Calico Cottage has been a creative home for families in Tipton County. Founded by Mrs. Gail, the studio built a reputation for nurturing self-expression through drawing, painting, and hands-on instruction in a warm, welcoming space.

Now, the next generation is continuing that legacy. My name is Richie Newbill, and together with my wife Rori, we’ve reopened Calico Cottage with one goal in mind: to make art fun, encouraging, and accessible for everyone in our community.

Whether you’re looking for kids’ art classes, adult painting lessons, or a fun birthday party venue in Munford, we’re here to help you create something beautiful.
